TMZ is reporting that a mystery man (or woman) is looking to buy the rights to Kim Kardashian's four-year-old sex tape from Vivid Entertainment...but not to distribute it.

The buyer wants to take the video off the market completely, forever.

The buyer hired a lawyer in Tennessee to help with the negotiation and the client is looking to obtain all footage with Kim Kardashian in it.

Kardashian, herself, sued Vivid back in 2007 over the release of the tape, but eventually settled with them for a rumored $5 million.

Which is pennies when you consider Vivid now says it won't part with the tape for anything less than $30 million, what they consider to be its "long term" value.

Of course it's impossible to ever get Kardashian's sex tape off the market completely. Too many people have copies.

And if it's going to cost $30 million to get Kim Kardashian doing the nasty off the market, just imagine what it would cost to get these other famous sex tapes to disappear. Yikes

Mum Charlotte Hilbrandt became pregnant by ex-husband Michael and new boyfriend Tommy when she slept with both men within 48 hours.

It means that twins Marcus and Lucas, who turned six last week and were born just 48 minutes apart, are one of only three known sets of twins in the world who are genetic half-brothers.

“You have a bigger chance of winning the lottery than something like this happening,” the Mirror quoted 38-year-old Charlotte as saying.

Seems like everyone here hates ICICI... I have been using ICICI for 8 yrs now...Had no issues transferring money..... They might have robbed me few paisa from exchange rate but i did not pay that close attention as i found that exchange rate at remit2india from times and Citi was always bad compared to ICICI. I do know about their bad practices in India where they force people to have min balance of 10-15 K and so forth. I think its time that RBI makes gets rid of min balance requirement or put upper ceiling on it. Having such a large sum (Equivalent to 2K USD when considered Purchase power parity) is ridiculous and kind of stealing of people's hard earned money. But again, ICICI is not the only one doing it so cant single them out.

After reading so many bad reviews about ICICI, i would like to check out SBI service, but not sure if they allow direct deposit in banks other than SBI? my parents are with IDBI so it is very convenient to have ICICI transfer money directly....Please advise

Hello:

The company I am working with doing business for 40 years (less than 40 employee) and as per my lawyer, financially very good. I hired the lawyer and employer directly gave him financial docs. I am only one person with H-1 in this company's history and working for 4 years. Got labor approval on PERM EB2 (MS+1) and did concurrent filing with I-140 premium processing.

I received RFE regarding company's ability to pay. We sent tax files for FY 2005 (contains oct '05 to Oct '06) for being PD of Nov '06 and W2 for 2006 which showed 6k more than offered wage. Company started paying me offered wage one week after the PD and offered wage is 3k more than prevailing wage. RFE specified to show ability to pay by showing 2006 tax return or audited financial statement by 12 weeks. Any of this will not work as tax file will be prepred on Nov '07 for FY 2006 and audited finan. stat. costs a lot of money. My company has no clue and just planning to write a letter that they will not able to provide before Nov 07 and already submitted tax file upto Oct 06 which could be enough to find the financial status. They talk to their CPA and he advised to do so.

I am really not very fimilar with all these issues. What should I do as company is not able to provide above 2 things that USCIS asked for? Can I send my paychecks even started getting paid offered wage after one week?

You should not have gotton H1B visa in the first place, as H1b visas are for professionals and there are many professionals stuggle to get an h1b visas even after engineering degrees. In your case, IGNOU is a shame. Its worse than University of Pheonix. If you get a greencard in EB2, it will be a biggest mockery of the USCIS and department of labor.

I suggest you learn a thing or two about laws governing H1 and EB GC. From your various post it appears that you have absolutely no clue regarding these process nor do you know what a legitimate university is . Did you pass from a unaccredited university ??

BTW, one does not even need a degree for H1 .... absence of every 1 year of post secondary education can be substituted by 3 years of experience --- so US Government understands the importance of experience. But I agree , some wannabe US LPR/Citizen might find it difficult to understand the importance of experience.

Care to explain why "professionals with engineering degree" "struggle" to get H1 ? It is a pretty straight forward process if you have a "valid" job. If you work for a fraud consulting company , it is a different story however.

Couldn't disagree more with kaisersose or guns. GC system as it exists is rubbish and ugly in many ways- but as bad as it is that's what's legal and in place now so we have to go thru that and if possible, make it better along the way appealing to the saner elements of the society. What pissed people off, was your tone and disgust at the poor fellow and his qualifications, especially when you know little about his ability to carry out his job, or his background. In school, or on line -- he earned those degrees. Maybe he didn't have the financial resources to attend the best schools (I don�t know what is IGNOU). I assume you've likely never studied in India though. An bachelor's degree in engineering is not very expensive, if you have good grades.
10 years back it would cost about $100-200 a year, if you qualified through a state ranking system.

I watched him twice tonight! First in the movie 'Nobel Son' which was fun to watch, but you'd have to suspend your disbelief since there are so many twists in it, it's so easy to get lost. Anyhow, Bryan Greenberg is one of the major characters in the movie. He plays the son of the Nobel Prize winner played by Alan Rickman. Anyway, just rent the movie if you want because he's so cute in this and so bad-ass. Don't remember him having a shirtless scene though.

An hour later, he comes out in HBOs 'How To Make It In America', a very interesting series where he's one of the two blokes trying to make break it into the fashion scene of New York by making jeans. Since he's the cute one, the girls gravitate to him - a no-brainer!

“Because Shinhwa is the only group in the Korean music scene that has lasted for 10 years without a member dropping out, we think that Shinhwa’s 9th album and 10th anniversary concert hold a special meaning for Shinhwa and its fans. We hope that the 9th album and the commemorative goods that have Shinhwa members’ hearts in them will receive lots of love from fans,” a Good Entertainment official said on the 14th.

A 6-perfume set called “The Scent of Shinhwa,” which matches each of the Shinhwa members was developed and produced in cooperation with France Galimard, while the character figures were designed by cartoon character desginer Kim Kwang Ho.

More details on the goods will be up on March 17 in Shinhwa’s 10th anniversary site and orders will be received by mid-March in the said site.

For the purposes of the various arguments which try to prove the existence of God, they are all referring to the Judaeo-Christian God. The arguments try to fit in an omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent being within a framework.... Although when I say fit it's more like shoe-horn.

The main argument against the Judaeo-Christian God is: there is evil in the world, God is meant to be all-powerful and all-loving, and all-knowing, yet evil continues unabated. Either God is not powerful enough to stem the tide of "evil" in which case he's not worthy of worship, or God doesn't know we're suffering, or God knows and is powerful enough but chooses not to do anything.

You should read Spinoza's idea of God, pantheism (if you don't know it already, I'm sorry for assuming). It's the one that most appeals to me :D

It's been too long since I read any of that stuff. Regardless of their arguments, when I discuss the possible existence of a creator/god it is not specifically the God Judeo-Christian God.

I can't believe how many of you are writing off this app already after it's debut announcement which only covered new features and a new UI design. We essentially know NOTHING yet beyond it's new tricks, none of us have actually sat down and experienced a workflow with it. I haven't seen a single thing to suggest that features have been removed entirely or that the rest fo studio is now dead. At the absolute least Apple would put the rest of FCS2 onto the app store individually in their current form and from the attitudes I've seen in here most of you would love that they didn't update them in the least.

I too am suspicious about this release but I'm also optimistic. I don't assume that just because they didn't mention this or that that it must now be dead. We got our 64bit FCP that we've been dying for, we get background rendering and a wider range of native codecs (though we don't know which ones yet), and that all sounds like good news to me so far. I don't know what to expect from the rest of Studio as it'd be hard to imagine them revamping the entire suite unless they are truly being consumed by FCPX. If FCPX is able to switch between "Color" mode and "Motion" mode then so long as those modes remain full featured with a consistent UI across the board (something that has plagued the suite for a long time) then I can only see that as an upgrade. We'll find out more soon enough I'm sure.

If this truly does turn into what everyone is afraid of then oh well, I'm confident in my abilities to be able to adapt to an Avid or Adobe workflow. This isn't going to hold me back or ruin my parade.

What astounds me about this thread is that most people are treating Conroe like it's some second rate, compromise chip, like it pales in comparison to the Woodcrest, which is absolutely ridiculous. The conroe is a revolutionary chip, with virtually identical architecture to the Woodcrest. It's only downside is that you can't run dual conroe's and the bus speed is slightly different.

If the entire Mac Pro line came out with Conroes, which are dual core, we would have excellent and fast machines (for the record though, I think we'll see Woodcrests). My guess is that we may see at least one lower-end Mac Pro or headless media unit with a Conroe but in all likelihood, most of the Mac Pro line will use one chip because of the engineering costs associated with different socket and motherboard designs.

As for Conroes being too hot for an iMac, that strikes me as ridiculous. From what I've read, conroes use 40% less power than Pentium D's and are very efficient in terms of power to performance. Merom is a laptop chip and I'm not sure it will ever end up in a desktop system, even if it is the same socket as the Yonah.

You're quite right, and I agree that people are free to believe whatever they want. However, if they just believe something because "it's always been that way" or some other arbitrary reason then I don't have to respect them or take their beliefs seriously.

I've found the response of some of the devout atheist posters in this thread very interesting, some of the others are of the "God doesn't exist, meh" camp, who I just ignore.

Someone who has never been challenged in their atheist 'beliefs' (or more accurately, lack of belief) would be unlikely to engage in argument anyway. Being an atheist here in the UK isn't a particularly controversial position, and the topic of religion rarely comes up in polite conversation. In an ideal world, a 'live and let live' attitude would exist between theists and atheists, and each would just get on with their lives.

However, this isn't an ideal world - and there does appear to be a perceptible shift in the stridency of religious thought both in the East and West. Here in the UK, believers have been seen as an interesting electoral demographic, and targeted with promises of religious schooling, grants etc. In the US, it seems to be extremely difficult to enter higher political life as an atheist.

It's against this backdrop that atheists themselves have started to become more vocal, critical and radical. What someone else believes holds little interest to me, until that starts to impinge upon my own freedoms. At that point, the gloves come off...

It looks like a Mini and and i can do exactly the same with the current Mini. Hook up a Mini to a TV and add it to a home network, let it be cabled or wireless. With the frontrow software you can now listen and watch all the content from the other computers in the network with iTunes streaming.

The only differences between a Mini and iTV are the connections on the back, better wireless speed and no DVD. Its pure the price and software that makes it a media device and not a computer.

I can do what an iPod does with my Powerbook too. Doesn't mean I want to use that to play music when I'm walking around.

Likewise, I want a computer at close distance hooked up to a computer monitor, it's less than ideal sat under my TV displaying on a relatively low res screen with a keyboard and mouse teetering on my lap. I know Apple think this too.

With the iTV as I see it you get to have that Mini being a real computer somewhere else in your house.

That said, I could be wrong and it could be a really cut down Mac Mini. I guess we'll see.

Why do they allow the files to be hidden?

Of course if you used Norton you wouldn't have this problem. :D:D:D

Why is it that hard to understand? Because every OS has files that users should not and could not touch. OS/X is not an exception to this rule. Showing these files to users in file manager generally makes user life more difficult. What's the point of seeing them if you can not do anything about them? Also, it reduces the chance of doing something stupid with these files accidentally (like removing).
Windows has an option to hide such files. OS/X does not.

..and of course more people using Google's services. I think their major issue was that smartphone makers like Apple and Microsoft have a decided interest in leading users to their own, non-Google services, while "old school" mobile phone companies like Nokia or Motorola don't even have many Web services to speak of. Apple may still be using quite a few Google services, but haven't they just bought a Google Maps competitor? And Google, MS and Apple are all competing in the "Docs" department.

Still, I'm not convinced that the Android investment was really necessary. Microsoft, their biggest enemy, is failing in the mobile OS market, whereas Apple isn't really showing any signs they might target Google's core business, the search engine and Web ads, in the future.

I wonder in which way Google sees its "auxiliary" services (Mail, Docs, Maps, Voice, Wave, et bloody cetera) as a future money maker. They must play a key role for the Android stretgy. However, quite a few people (including me) have my doubts about them. Even the highly successful YouTube isn't making any money.

I never doubted that Google as a pure software company may have a better margin, but you would need to compare Apple's iPhone business to Google Android business and see who is making more money in total.

Ya, Don't get me wrong, I own an iPhone, and I can't really see anything coming close to it in the next few years.
And it's not that big of a deal if google takes over when it comes to market share, especially when they're giving android away for free.. (from a phone manufacturer point of view, it's saving them money)

IMO, Google knows that it's gonna be pretty hard for them to increase revenue from anywhere except advertising, and they want to allow people who (for whatever reason) choose not to buy an iphone, still a chance to browse then net easily to click on their adds...

17% of phones sold last year were smartphones, and I think thats going to increase year over year.. and regardless of what hardware you have, all google wants is more and more people on the internet, since they dominate online search.. (Bing is losing market share as we speak, and they're the only company with deep enough pockets to take a stab at google (microsofts operating cashflow is around 20 Billion, apple is only around 10 Billion)
and apple does not look like they will ever try to tackle google when it comes to search..

and personally, if there are over 30 phones running on android, it wouldn't be too hard to believe that for every one person that buys an iphone, there might be two people who purchase a phone that runs on android..

but again, I think people assume that this means apple will be inferior in some way because they will not dominate the market share..and this is not true..
they will continue to make a great product..and at the end of the day, it will inspire other companies to make better products..

and I know I just blabed on, but about the last part of your post.. I think it would be really hard to see who is making more money,
because google does not receive cash for android, but apple gains income from each iphone sale..
but google indirectly makes money off any smartphone that can access the internet (assuming they use google search)

at the end of the day, I like both companies for the service they provide.. I don't have a beef with apple in any way, even though it may sound like it..

Not sure this is a good test...

I'm beginning to see that while ATT is the bigger culprit, the iphone itself may play a role in what happens with dropped calls...

My service (as is well documented in these forums) at home was/is terrible.

I recently purchased the microcell, from ATT, and I can now make calls in my house!! Except, when I move exactly 20 feet away from the microcell into my kitchen, my iPhone struggles with itself to pick up the 2 bar distant tower that was the guilty party in dropping my calls... so now, in my house iPhone juggles between a 5 bar microcell and a 1-2 bar tower (which still drops calls). It also drops every call that I'm on if i leave my house during a call, or arrive at my house during a call.

I have reset the network settings on iphone, to no avail...

Before this week and the microcell experiment, I wouldnt have said this, but I honestly believe that the software that drives the phone is playing a huge part in how the phone handles tower switches, and thus is a culprit in the dropped call phenomena.

I agree cause my blackberry Bold 9700 never drops calls and i am everywere in the northwest.

ATT isn't stealing anything. And they are giving you unlimited data on your phone and your phone only because THAT is what you agreed to.

If you want to change the rules, then att can enforce the rules YOU agreed to.

You're right. Apple needs to 'kick-start' the Power PC. I hope the IBM rumours are true and we'll see a G5 sometime next year that can really compete with Intel/AMD.

If the speed/cost ratio continues to widen considerably over the next 12 months Apple might lose a number of loyalists.

Name another consumer workstation with a XEON Processor in it. For XEON based machines, the Apple's will be a deal, much like the XServes were the cheapest 1u you could get with the power.

the powermac/mac pro is not a consumer mac they are workstations and are priced and specced accordingly.

Top 10: Things To Do When You're Sick

It's flu season, everybody! Everywhere I go, I hear people sniffling and/or coughing left and right. I, myself, am recovering from a terrible case of the flu. The thing is it's bad enough being sick. Being sick in a cold country is even worse! You've got these aches and pains, you're cold, it's windy and rainy or snowing (which only helps worsen your already dire condition!), and all you want to do is hibernate- as if the winter season didn't do that enough already.

I don't need MORE motivation to stay in bed all day!

Yes, it truly is dreadful. So in order to help appease others who are suffering with me, I've put together a list of my "Top 10 Sick-Dos" for all you lovely people, whether you are sick now or fall sick anytime in the future.

1. Breakfast in Bed

Mmm...yes. You've been feeling a bit under the weather for the past couple of days, and then it finally hits you. I'm sure you've all experienced it: the awful morning on day 1 of your flu. You wake up with a banging headache, you're aching in places you've actually been meaning to work out at the gym, you've got the chills or sweats, your skin is sensitive to touch, your neck aches, your mouth is dry, your sinuses burn and your voice is coarse.

You think, "I am not going to work/school today." so how should you start your day off instead? Mmmhm. Breakfast in bed.

Force yourself out of bed and make your way over to the kitchen (bundled up in all your bed covers or multiple bathrobes if you wish).

First off, have a big glass of warm water with or without a lemon. Your body is dehydrated and it is a good way to wake the digestive system up. Take your vitamins, minerals and some flu or pain medication and drink another glass of water.

Make yourself a nice hot cup of coffee, have a glass of juice (or milk, or water), and make yourself something simple that doesn't require much energy. Butter on toast, eggs, saltine crackers, yogurt & fruit, or a bit of all the above! Skip the greasy Denny's-esque breakfast and go for foods that are nutritious and light (it's not like you need to bombard your body with any more toxins), so that means NONE of last night's leftover pizza.

I have a food tray at home because I typically don't eat at the dining table and I recommend everyone to have one. It is perfect to bring around little tidbits, coffee, or tea, as well as books and anything else you might need in other area's of the house. Instead of having to lug 2 items at a time back and forth around the house.

It is also perfect for a sick day. Whether you are single or attached ;), this is something you can enjoy. If you are living with somebody, even better. You don't even have to go to the kitchen yourself! What could be a sweeter gesture than nursing a loved one in bed? And if you're both sick, at least you're in it together.

Singletons: grab your diary, a book, turn on the TV, or just allow this time for you to wallow in your misery and relax with a nice breakfast at hand, tucked comfortably in bed.

2. Soup

Mm, I love soup. All kind's of soup. Clear, cream, broths, tomato-based, veggie, spicy, bland, so on and so forth. Personally I don't have much of an appetite when I'm sick, or maybe it's the thought of having to make or go out and buy food that turns me off it.

So there is nothing simpler than making yourself a bowl of soup. For those of you who enjoy cooking and are feeling up to it, go for it. If you're lacking inspiration, look up a couple recipes on the internet! There are so many soup recipes from all regions of the world, you could never get bored.

From a simple chicken broth soup, borsch, cream of spinach, beef stew, tom yam, cream of corn, cream of mushroom, clam chowder, pumpkin, cabbage etc.

And for others who are as lazy as I am in the kitchen, Campbell's soup does just fine, which is why I'm always stocked with that stuff! If you are weight conscious, choose a tomato/clear-based soup rather than creamy. Campbell's now also offers the low-fat variety of a lot of their soups.

I am currently living on Campbell's low-fat Cream of Garlic Mushroom.

There is nothing more soothing than a hot bowl of soup to warm up your tummy, add a couple of saltine crackers on the side and voila. And the plus side is, if you choose your soup wisely, you can drink unlimited amounts without worrying about the calories.

3. High Tea

If you are well enough, make a reservation at the high tea lounge you've been meaning to go to for the past month. If not, why not indulge at home!

I have a lot of teas at home. I simply love it. I find it relaxes the mind and soul, even the act of preparing tea. And there are just so many different kinds to suit every occasion. Certain types of teas even raise your metabolism and detoxify your body.

Detoxify your body and mind from the grueling work and punishment you've laid upon them. Whether you've been really stressed out at work/school, your colleagues and boss are putting a lot of pressure on you, or if you have been partying too hard with friends. Let this time just be about you, and you alone.

Take out your finest china or cutest tea set. Prepare your favourite teas, or try something new! There's more out there than just breakfast and green tea.

Bring out indulgent little snacks, whether that is cheese and crackers, a piece of fruit, or sweet delicacies. Put effort into making it, and even yourself, look nice.

I always feel better when I am looking a little better.

Sit Back.

Indulge.

Relax.

Enjoy.

4. Organize Your Closet

Or whatever it is that you've been telling yourself you'll do but always find excuses not to. A personal project, cleaning, organizing.

Organization will not only take your mind off of being sick, but you'll feel great about how neat and glam your closet now looks. No longer will you have bags, jewelry, scarves, last night's panties and dresses strewn all over the place.

The more areas of your life that are in order, the more these habits will likely seep into your everyday world and outlook as well.

Change is also very renewing and refreshing. The smallest change can make your living space feel brand new. Not to mention you'll be burning calories and feeling fabulous all at the same time.

5. Take a Bubble Bath

Do it! Take this time to primp and cleanse yourself.

With so many products on the market, from companies like L'Occitane to The Body Shop to Miller Harris to Victoria's Secret, you'll never run out of a fresh scent to bathe yourself in. I always find it exciting trying out new bath products. Don't the bottles above just look so wonderfully appealing???

Imagine bathing yourself in vanilla & ice cream, or strawberries & milkshake! Yum. You've got your bath milk, bath salts... And again, if your lover is living with you, what would be more fun than to dip into the bath together and just relax or get naughty.

This will also be the time, especially for my lovelies who live in cold weathered countries, to really pamper and moisturize that dry and tired skin as well as exfoliate. However, of course if your skin is feeling a bit sensitive, save the exfoliating for next time to avoid any rashes or discomfort.

Hot baths are known to help relax our muscles, releasing all that tension. You can also use relaxing scented oils or candles like they do at spas for further comfort. Put on some light music, or just have this time for your thoughts.

It is also said that by the hot bath water speeding up your heart rate and causing you to sweat and detoxify your body, much like a sauna. It helps our immune system fight the virus.

However, don't stay in the bath too long. As the increased heart rate and blood pressure may not be ideal for certain individuals- I trust that you know your own health best. Also, please use common sense. If you have a fever, or your skin is so sensitive that you cannot possibly enter a hot bath, don't do it!

Don't forget to keep yourself hydrated afterwards as you are losing moisture from your body, which also means it will make your skin drier so moisturize well after your pampering session!

And you're good to go. Feeling fresh, well and pampered like a princess.

6. Movies

Wear your fluffiest bathrobe and slippers, make yourself a hot drink, collect all your favourite classic movies (whatever genre you love) and just let your mind go slump.

I used to have a player that could hold multiple discs at once, that was Heaven on a sick day. So if you have that luxury, lucky you! Take advantage of it.

Just sit there and daydream. Plan what you're going to do when you're better. Who knows!

Most Kate Hudson movies work for me! They're usually positive and upbeat, which is nice on a dreary tissue-filled or cough-syrup intoxicated day.

7. Catch Up on TV Shows

Enough said! Sex and the City is always entertaining, whether it Carrie is having man problems or Samantha's appalling sex escapades! If anything, even if the show were mute, the fashion on the show is interesting enough to keep you hooked. Plus, they always happen to be able to touch on the many issues that relate to us females in the modern world.

Watch re-runs of The Hills or any other reality shows you enjoy.

And be mortified/shocked/amazed all over again by how different Heidi Montag looks and begin an inner-debate about why she did it, if you would do it and whether she looks better or not. Ha-ha

Kathy Griffin's Life On The D-List never fails to entertain me. What could be better than a feisty, uncensored redhead?

Whether you are a guido/guidette, enjoy laughing at the show, or want to bang one of the characters- Jersey Shore is successful for a reason. People love to laugh at dumb shit and drool at over-exposed muscles.

Admittedly this show is more suited for a younger teen audience, for some reason it keeps me hooked. The acting and storyline is no where near original or fantastic, so what gives? Maybe it's because all the girls and boys are good looking and wear cute clothes. Maybe it brings me back to middle school and my early high school days. Who knows.

Plus...all the other major shows haven't returned to air yet *shrugs*. The question is: WHY NOT?

8. Catch Up On Reading

Yeah, you know that book that's been collecting dust on your shelf that you've been meaning to read but haven't? Well, now's your chance to start! Because once you get into the story, you'll most likely be following it even when you're feeling better.

What I like to do, namely if the book has been made into a movie, is set myself a goal. To finish reading the book or book series and then watch the film version. Simple, but effective. To get myself prepped and in a comfortable position to read a book, I like to grab a drink, snuggle up in bed with an eye-mask over my head (let's face it, reading for long periods of time does usually lead to a nap) and just go for it.

Read old books or series that you enjoyed as a child. Or still enjoy now.

Grab a fashion magazine to catch up on the latest trends, interviews and world issues.

The Gossip Girl series has fabulous covers. They're quite a bit different for the show, though the reading level is very low (which might be good for your foggy brain) the characters are very much living the young adult life many of us do with all the same issues. Except of course, in more glamorous locations.

I love the Hot Chick books!! Written by sexy, fantastic ladies Jodi Lipper and Cerina Vincent. Inspirational, upbeat and honest. A good guide to how you should live your life confident, happy and empowered.

Other suggestions: Trading Up (Candace Bushnell), The Memory Daughter's Keeper (Kim Edwards), Catcher In The Rye (J.D. Salinger), Anne Frank's Diary (Anne Frank), Unsticky (Sarra Manning), Larger Than Life (Adele Parks).

9. Retail Therapy

This is probably more appropriate for the end stages of your illness, where you are feeling well enough to move out and about. What could make you feel more renewed than purchasing shiny, new things???

This isn't the frantic Christmas-style shopping though. This is relaxed. Where you go from store to store without rushing. Perhaps it's a new skincare product that makes you feel great, a new bottle of perfume to make you feel fresh and glamorous, cute new kitchenware to rejuvenate your kitchen, a new outfit that makes you feel hot, a new CD or new shoes so that with every step you take you have a little bounce.

Take your best guy/girl/gay friend with you for my readers who need to ease into the social world and hate to be alone.

Make an effort to look decent, so that you feel confident and like a Goddess as people look your way.

And when you're all pooped out with tired feet from doing all that shopping cardio (shopping burns about 200 cals an hour!), just find a nice cafe or tea shop to plop down in to relax and giggle about all the great new things you've just bought.

If you're in the mood to explore teas from all over the world, as well as grab a bite to eat, Google whether you have a Mariage Frères in the area. They are amazing in that they offer teas from all regions of the world, which they also sell, it's unbelievable.

10. Sleep

That is the best way to be cured of a flu or cold. Tons of rest, rest and rest.

Key things to keep in mind:
1. Rest

2. Relaxation
3. Make/allow yourself to feel great
4. Nutritious food

5. Keep meds and Pepto-Bismol in handy
5. Stay hydrated- don't skip this part! It not only helps keep your tummy flat and skin glow, but is a necessity for a healthy body.

Also, please be considerate of other people! You want to be aware of personal hygiene to avoid infecting others and getting yourself sick in the future.

Though...I'm sure you don't have to quite go to the same measures as Speidi...

What's best of all?

If you can accomplish several of these things, all together.

Congraduations to Kris Allen who won American Idol last night!

The internet of course is full of posters and bloggers today giving their views on why Kris won. Yes I saw the anti Adam sites and ads and yes I saw posts and got emails from those who were pushing for the first gay winner. Both equally bugged me.

Maybe some group did have a hand in the outcome, but it is hard for me to care that much as I thought both men were talented and deserving of the win. I hope that things other than talent did not play a part but I also wish everyone could handle the outcome as well as Adam and Kris did. It will be a shame if the win is overshadowed by weeks of anger about it. Adam and Kris were friends and I believe both happy for one another.

Adam's Mad World was one of Idol's greatest performances, but week after week I generally prefered Kris's performances. Both men are deserving and I wish it could be left at that.

My only complaint about last night was selfish and it was that I did not get enough of Matt Giraud. I will let Idol off the hook if it is true he and Scott were supposed to perform with Billy Joel (which did not happen because Joel could not make it) But I was really hoping he would get a duet or a chance to shine.

Hey, welcome, we hope that you had a great weekend and are now all set for the week ahead. We are somewhat confused by the fact that our Left hand margin with our list of followers,Blog Roll, and archive listings etc have suddenly disappeared from our dashboard screen. It would be helpful if one or more of you guys could tell us if the appear when you log in. We want to post a Poll and it would be pointless if it didn't show up....OBSERVATIONS PLEASE.
